Busiest on Mondays around 10 am — usually as busy as it gets.
This is the airport of the fourth largest city in France, but it is very spacious, clean and especially the staff here are very professional. In addition, the services are wonderful, you should experience it.
Nice airport, modern and creative. But some small airlines don't manage their checkin operation properly.
Personally I went here and did not have a good experience. Staff was rude. I flew on easyJet and it was not good. seat was dirty, staff was mean, the landing was hard. It was not good. 1 STAR!!!
Awful airport. Overall it wouldn't be bad the security is outdated, unacceptable and unorganized. 4 people hand off their bags at the same que and the staff mixes up the order of the boxes. When checking boxes they couldn't identify which box belonged to whom. Maybe open 2 ques and then they wouldn't get confused what belogs to whom. Electronics need to be taken out completely without anyting below. Very strict and specific with the liquid rules, but they don't explain what can go in which bag. You need to prep 3 bags: makeup, liquids and medication. They don't consider makeup liquid, but don't accept cream format medication as medication. After reorganizing 3 times they spilled all of my items to the "dirty" scanning box from the bags without notifying me. Then in the end they wanted to throw out some items that didn't fit based on their packing into the ziploc. Suprisingly, I could fit all items in the bag. The staff was rude. The gates are far from the stores and restaurants with few seating options. The info boards only show expected departure times, not the delayed. Most of the moving sideways are just decor as they don't work. Doesn't look/feel clean.
Toulouse-Blagnac Airport is an international airport serving the city of Toulouse and the broader Occitanie region in southwestern France. It is located in the commune of Blagnac, just northwest of Toulouse city center. As a key transport hub for the region, the airport handles a mix of domestic and international flights, connecting passengers to major European cities and beyond. The airport is also closely associated with the aerospace industry, being near the headquarters of Airbus, which influences the type of air traffic and business travel through the terminal.
The airport provides a range of on-site services designed to meet the needs of travelers. Accessibility is prioritized with designated wheelchair-accessible parking, entrance, seating, and toilets, ensuring ease of movement for passengers with reduced mobility. Additionally, wheelchair rental is available on site for those who require assistance. For families traveling with young children, changing tables are provided in the restrooms. Luggage storage facilities allow passengers to explore the area hands-free before or after their flight. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the terminal, enabling passengers to stay connected. Basic amenities include public toilets and baggage storage services.
For parking, the airport offers both paid multi-storey car parks and paid parking lots, giving travelers options for short-term or long-term stays. The multi-storey car park is conveniently located near the terminal, while the parking lot may provide more economical choices. All parking facilities are well signposted and accessible via the airport access roads.
Toulouse-Blagnac Airport is not open 24 hours a day; it operates with specific opening and closing times. The terminal is open daily, but hours may vary. Peak activity occurs at 4 pm and 5 pm, when flight schedules are busiest, likely due to a concentration of afternoon departures and arrivals. Passengers should plan their arrival accordingly, especially during these peak times when check-in and security lines may be longer. Since the airport is not open all day, travelers are advised to check the official website for exact operating hours before heading to the airport, particularly for early morning or late evening flights.
For the most up-to-date information on flights, services, and parking, the airport’s official website is the primary resource: https://www.toulouse.aeroport.fr/. The site provides real-time flight status, directory of amenities, and details on ground transportation options. While a phone number is not listed here, the website offers a contact form and frequently asked questions for passenger inquiries.
Toulouse-Blagnac Airport serves as the main air gateway for the city of Toulouse, a major center for aerospace, technology, and tourism. The airport's proximity to Airbus facilities makes it a significant point for business travelers and industry events. It also connects the region to leisure destinations, with seasonal flights to Mediterranean and Atlantic coast resorts, as well as year-round routes to major European capitals. The airport is well connected to the city center via shuttle buses, taxis, and ride-sharing services. The journey to central Toulouse typically takes around 20 minutes by road, depending on traffic. Car rental agencies are also available on site for passengers wanting to explore the wider Occitanie region, which includes the Pyrenees mountains, historic cities like Carcassonne, and the Canal du Midi.
Given that the airport has peak hours at 4 pm and 5 pm, passengers with flights around those times should allow extra time for check-in and security screening. The availability of wheelchair rental and accessible facilities ensures that the airport accommodates passengers with special needs. The baggage storage service is useful for layovers or for those arriving early before exploring Toulouse. Since the airport is not open all day, early morning departures or late arrivals may require coordination with hotel transfers or alternative transport options. Checking the official website in advance is recommended for any schedule changes or updates to services.
