The airport is located just outside Jufal town, about a 15-minute walk from the main bazaar. There are no buses or taxis; you will either walk or arrange a pickup with your hotel or trekking company.
The terminal at Dolpa Airport is a single-storey building with a concrete floor and corrugated metal roof. It is compact — essentially one room serves as both check-in area and waiting lounge. On arrival, passengers walk across the tarmac to the building. The check-in counter is straightforward: you present your ticket and ID, and your luggage is weighed and taken. Security is minimal; there is a basic walk-through metal detector and a manual bag check.
