For travellers arriving at the new Phu Quoc International Airport (about 30 km south), the old airport is accessible via National Route 47, a 30- to 45-minute drive through the island's interior. The airport's proximity to Duong Dong makes it a convenient alternative for those staying in the town or northern beaches. No public bus route directly serves the old airport, but taxis are abundant and fares are negotiable. Car rental with driver is also common.
