Busiest on Mondays around 1 pm — usually as busy as it gets.
Revamped and refreshed -- still about 20% left it seems. But everything is nice and new. The ground staff are friendly. TSA was also friendly! Lots of nice comfortable seating areas with plugs and USB outlets. Also the bathrooms are nice and new. Looks cozy inside.
Solid little airport. Major recent upgrades. We need more flights now!! Have had a couple not great experiences. Need staff at the desk at all times! I've been there with zero staff at the desk before a flight. Unacceptable. With all of the grant money coming in, we are hopeful about the long term for this airport. Super easy to flight in and out of. Nice new terminal. Just need more flights!!
Of all the times I have used Greater Binghamton Airport, I have personally found it to be simple and straightforward. Last time I went here, the TSA agents did their best to ensure that they moved passengers efficiently through the security lanes. I enjoy flying as a passenger and the staff seem pretty friendly.
I know they're renovating the airport, but having to pick up luggage outside at the curb in front of the terminal is very unusual. And although the interior renovations are still not complete, many of the outlets in the waiting area aren't working. Many people searching for somewhere to plug in phone/laptop chargers is very inconvenient. Would be interesting to see when it's actually complete.

Greater Binghamton Airport serves the Southern Tier of New York, a region defined by rolling hills, river valleys, and a mix of rural and urban landscapes. The area is historically known for its industrial heritage, particularly the Endicott‑Johnson Corporation (shoe manufacturing) and the presence of IBM, which had a major research and manufacturing facility in Endicott for decades. Today, the economy is diversified, with strengths in healthcare, education (Binghamton University, part of the SUNY system), and advanced manufacturing.
