Overview

Maurice Bishop International Airport (GND) is the main air gateway to Grenada, the southernmost of the Windward Islands in the Caribbean. Driving is on the left, and the road network is compact; from the airport, it takes about 15–20 minutes to reach the capital, 30 minutes to Grand Anse Beach, and about an hour to the northern town of Sauteurs. There is no public bus service directly to the terminal, but minibus taxis (known as “vans”) operate along the main road a short walk from the airport entrance. The airport car park is wheelchair accessible and offers short-term and long-term spaces.
