Our proximity to YVR makes us the natural, full-service alternative to their congested airspace. Free of slot times and flow control, we provide executive level customer service and a full host of amenities, available to you and your clients on their schedule. A new 6008' runway and dual taxiways to prioritize traffic, while a modern terminal building and spacious ramp combine to provide a welcoming atmosphere with Boundary Bay Airport.

Boundary Bay Air Show The host should reign its job as its worst organization ever host. The parking had zero handicap zone made. And zero handicap service shuttle. Air Show was ok, not many interesting airplanes on site. Zero organization for the shuttle service, people line up 2 lines in different area and squeeze each other on the shuttle. This drive came on site and left empty seats, not sure if he's scamming city of Delta and citizens money for joke. Ask to pickup my handicap parent but denied with excuses. This driver should get relocated for different job.
Hi John Doe, Thank you for taking the time give us your feedback. We do our best to listen to the valuable input from the community and work hard to incorporate those thoughts and ideas into how we can improve how we operate our free airshow. I understand your disappointment and frustration and will explore ways to better serve the needs of accessible patrons.
Everytime, it has a show I would probably be there, great time with family. Free shuttle with free parking, or parking onsite for $25. No admission fee. I had a great time, I hope you will have the same
Hi Joseph! Thanks for the great review. The airshow is the highlight of our summer and we are happy you've been able to join us.
Great airshow!! VIP with tons of great food, coffee, deserts and ice cream. Lots of great planes, amazing displays and thank-you to City of Delta, the airport, all the sponsors and volunteers and all the pilots and support crew. Special thanks to Heidelberg for the tickets.
Hi Maurice! Thanks for the great review. We too love the airshow and I'm so happy to hear you had such a wonderful experience.
The airshow was spectacular, the organization was orderly, there were many activities, and the shuttle service was very convenient.
Hi Foodie Vancouver! Wow, those are some amazing photos from our airshow!! Thanks for taking the time to leave us a great, 5 star review and for sharing these photos.
Boundary Bay Airport (CZBB) is a general aviation airport located in Delta, British Columbia, roughly 30 kilometres south of downtown Vancouver. It lies on the shore of Boundary Bay, near the US border and the town of Point Roberts, Washington. The airport serves primarily as a hub for flight training schools, recreational flying, and small aircraft operations. It also supports corporate and charter flights, as well as cargo operations. With its proximity to Vancouver and the Fraser Valley, Boundary Bay Airport is a key reliever for Vancouver International Airport, offering an alternative for pilots and passengers who prefer a less congested environment. The airport features a single asphalt runway and a modern terminal building, though it is not a major commercial passenger hub. Most travellers using this airport are either arriving on private or charter flights, or are students and instructors from the several flight schools based here.
Boundary Bay Airport provides a range of on-site services and facilities for those passing through. The terminal building includes a passenger waiting area, flight planning rooms, and pilot lounges. For those with reduced mobility, the airport is fully wheelchair-accessible: there is a wheelchair-accessible car park, a wheelchair-accessible entrance, and a wheelchair-accessible toilet. Standard toilets are also available. The airport offers a free parking lot, with ample spaces for both short-term and long-term parking. On-site parking is also available. Additionally, there are several businesses operating from the airport, including a restaurant, a flight school office, and aircraft maintenance services. Travelers can find basic amenities such as vending machines and a small convenience shop within the terminal. Note that as a general aviation airport, amenities are geared more toward pilots and aircraft owners, but passengers will find the essentials covered.
Boundary Bay Airport is not open every day of the week. According to available information, the airport operates on a limited schedule, so travellers should confirm operating hours before planning a trip. The busiest times are around midday, particularly at 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm, when flight training activity peaks. The airfield itself may be closed on certain days or during specific holidays. For up-to-date information on opening hours and any closures, it is recommended to contact the airport directly.
For inquiries, passengers and visitors can reach Boundary Bay Airport by phone at +1 604-946-5361. The official website is https://czbb.com/, which provides details on airport services, flight schools, and local businesses. The site also has a facility map and information on aircraft parking and hangar rentals. The airport office is located at 7800 72 Street, Delta, BC V4G 1L5. For radio communications, pilots should tune to the CZBB frequency, but this is for aviation use only; passengers need not concern themselves with that.
Boundary Bay Airport plays a distinct role in the Lower Mainland’s aviation ecosystem. It is one of Canada’s busiest airports by aircraft movements, largely due to the high volume of flight training circuits. The airport also serves as a base for air ambulance and medevac operations, as well as for wildlife management flights over the nearby Fraser River estuary. The surrounding area is a mix of agricultural land and residential suburbs, with the airport itself adjacent to the Boundary Bay Regional Park, a popular spot for birdwatching and walking. Travellers arriving by private aircraft will find that the airport’s location offers quick access to the US border crossing at Point Roberts, as well as to the ferry terminals serving Vancouver Island. For those driving, the airport is a few minutes from Highway 99 (the main route from Vancouver to the US) and is well connected by local roads. While public transit options are limited, taxis and ride-sharing services are available in Delta.
