Busiest on Mondays around 10 am — usually busy.
Not only the noise, but still using leaded fuel and pumping it out all over the neighbourhoods of Brisbane. Leaded fuel gone from the automotive industry decades ago but spewing it out constantly from light planes. Someone should get some community blood lead level testing done start a class action lawsuit. It's already be cone for PFAS in Townsville.
A great place to take flying lessons. You have a plethora of flying schools to pick from
Picture perfect airport, wonderfull staff and services available! Everyone is passionate about aviation, from the cafe to the fuel handlers and especially the pilots. Conveniently, the avgas or jet fuel is brought directly to your aircraft and filled on your request. Call the special number, however they may ask if you have a VIVA card, no it's not a VISA card. Highly reccomend the Air Archerfield cafe, it's right on demand and has a nice range of pastries, wraps and sandwiches! Wonderful aerodrome with non-bossy ATC.

Archerfield Airport is a general aviation airport located in the Brisbane suburb of Archerfield, Queensland. Unlike Brisbane Airport, which handles major domestic and international flights, Archerfield serves as a hub for general aviation activities including flight training, private and recreational flying, charter operations, and aircraft maintenance. It is one of the busiest general aviation airports in Australia, with a long history dating back to its early days as a Royal Australian Air Force base during World War II. Today, it is home to several flying schools, hangars, and aviation-related businesses. The airport is not used for scheduled commercial airline services, but it plays a vital role in the region's aviation infrastructure, providing an alternative to the larger Brisbane Airport for smaller aircraft.
Archerfield Airport is situated approximately 10 kilometres south of Brisbane's central business district, in the suburb of Archerfield. The airport is easily accessible by road via the Ipswich Motorway and Beaudesert Road, with clear signage directing drivers to the airport precinct. There is ample car parking available on site, including designated wheelchair-accessible spaces. Public transport options are limited; however, several bus routes serve the surrounding area, with stops within walking distance of the airport. For those travelling from Brisbane city or the Gold Coast, driving is the most convenient option. The airport's location also places it near major arterial roads, making it straightforward to reach from other parts of South East Queensland.

Confirmed facilities include wheelchair-accessible car parking, a wheelchair-accessible entrance, and wheelchair-accessible toilets, ensuring the airport is usable by passengers with mobility needs. For flight students and pilots, the airport hosts several flight training organisations that offer their own facilities. The airport also features a café or snack bar? Not confirmed, so do not invent. Stick to confirmed. The airport's website provides more details on specific tenant services.
