Busiest on Mondays around 5 pm — usually as busy as it gets.
The airport is very small, but adequate for the traffic volume. The building appears to be relatively new, has a very modern design, and is kept spotlessly clean. Check-in is quite quick due to the low passenger numbers. There's a restaurant for snacks in the waiting area by the gates. What I liked about it was the preparation time indicated on the menu.
This airport has good staff. The check-in process were quick plus The staff told us some jokes that i really liked. 5/5 (P.S if you can do not fly with Vietjet. They delayed us for 4hr!!!!! )
Small, efficient airport - no bridges to and from airplanes. Shuttle ride provided from the landing. 100K taxi fare to the city was requested without the meter.
Small, so clean, neat and convenient enough for what you need and just don't expect more :)
Pleiku Airport (IATA: PXU, ICAO: VVPK) is a domestic airport serving the city of Pleiku, the capital of Gia Lai province in Vietnam's Central Highlands. It is the primary air gateway for the region, handling flights to and from major Vietnamese cities such as Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. The airport is used by both business travelers and tourists heading to the highlands to explore the area's coffee plantations, ethnic minority villages, and national parks.
Pleiku Airport is located about 5 kilometers north of Pleiku city center, at 26 Phu Dong Avenue. The journey to downtown Pleiku takes approximately 10–15 minutes by car or taxi. The airport also serves the broader Central Highlands area, including Kon Tum city to the north (about 50 km away) and the popular tourist town of Da Lat to the south (though that is a 5-hour drive).
