I work on classic jet aircraft at small airports all over the country. Beaver County Airport is one of my top 3 favorite small airports to work out of, and fly out of. First and foremost the airport manager Beth , has been incredibly accommodating, hospitable, genuinely helpful throughout the 30-40 plus weekends I have spent here working on aircraft. Because the aircraft we work on are a bit exotic , many many local pilots and airport staff would come over and chat, offer us water, help, information , etc. Everyone around was and is just really great people. The manager of aces aviation , (Sara ) , one of the local flight schools had been so helpful when we had questions, problems, needed to find tools or equipment on the field to help out. Sara just constantly goes out of her way to be helpful. Beaver county airport staff, and local hanger tenants /pilots really have made this place feel very much like a family community.
Beautiful little airport with a single runway. Small cafe and plenty of parking. If you're into aviation this is a great place to park and just watch the planes take-off and land. If you actually are interested in becoming a pilot they have 2 flight schools on location.
