Super clean and easy to get around since it's such a small airport. Security was quick, everything feels new, and Breeze has some amazing cheap flights out of here. One of the easiest airports I've flown through!
We're glad you like the ease and convenience of CAK, Blayz! Thanks for choosing a better way to go.
First time flying to this Airport as I came for work to Salem OH, and this was convenient one hour highway drive from the Airport. Had a fantastic experience at Akron-Canton Airport (CAK)! From start to finish, everything was smooth and stress-free. The staff were genuinely the friendliest I've ever encountered at an airport--helpful, kind, and welcoming. Rental car facility are inside airport and rental car just across the road to pick up and drop off, smaller airport but seems like they maintained well. Highly recommend this airport for a hassle-free, pleasant travel experience! Forgot to mentioned about quite Business lounge at this Airport for travellers like me who wants to catch up with paperwork while waiting for the flight. Not many airport you will see like that, plenty of space to seats and charge your electronic gadgets throughout the airport, I'm sure we all experience that at the airport like O'hare , Charlotte and Philadelphia where passengers are walking with there almost dead phone to get it charged, you will not see that issue at this airport at all. Overall overwhelming experience.... Only regret and wish they had direct flight to Philadelphia.
We're glad you enjoy the ease and convenience of CAK, Alpesh! Thanks for choosing a better way to go.
Staff was great. First time flying out form CAK. Anyone and everyone was ready to answer any question I had. Getting through TSA was a breeze. The gate attendee was so nice and helpful she would leave her desk to come to flyers. Great coffee. Great atmosphere. May be small but it left an impression.
Thanks for choosing a better way to go, Daniel! See you back at CAK soon.
Akron-Canton Airport (CAK) is a hidden gem for travelers who appreciate efficiency and friendliness. The service here is consistently praised--staff are helpful, check-in is quick, and TSA is both thorough and speedy, making the whole process stress-free compared to larger airports. That is why we only choose this airport for family trips even though we are located two miles from CLE. Cleanliness is a standout feature as it the cleanest airport I have ever visited, with spotless restrooms and well-kept public spaces. There is also a kids play area and business center. Food options are limited but solid for a regional airport, and yes, the giant pretzel is a must-try if you're passing through--perfect for a quick bite before your flight. Security lines are generally short and well-managed, so you won't be stuck waiting around. Now, a quick word to the wise for the gentlemen: the restroom urinal arrangement is... unconventional. The smallest urinal is boldly stationed right in the middle, flagrantly violating the sacred code of urinal etiquette. Consider this your friendly warning--a little airport quirk that's sure to spark conversation (or at least a chuckle). Overall, CAK is a breeze to use, with friendly staff, fast lines, and a welcoming vibe. Just watch out for that middle urinal!
Hope to see you back at CAK soon, Henry!
