• By Car or Taxi: The drive from Kaohsiung International Airport (KHH) takes about 2 hours via the Freeway 3 and Highway 26. Taxis are readily available at Hengchun Airport’s small arrivals area; the ride to Kenting takes roughly 15–20 minutes.
• By Bus: Several bus routes from Hengchun town (a 10-minute walk or short taxi hop) connect to Kenting and other coastal resorts. The Kenting Express bus (operated by local carriers) runs from the Hengchun bus station to major hotels.
• By Scooter/Bicycle: Many visitors rent scooters in Hengchun or Kenting. The airport has limited parking but no dedicated rental counters inside the terminal; rental shops are a short distance in town.

The nearest international gateway is Kaohsiung International Airport, which offers more frequent domestic and international flights. From Kaohsiung, travellers can take a direct bus (the “Kenting Express”) or train to Fangliao, then a connecting bus south. Hengchun Airport is not connected to the Taiwan Railway system.
