Nearby Cities: The airport also serves as a convenient entry point for travellers heading to other parts of Transylvania. Brașov is about 140 km to the east (2.5 hours by car), Cluj-Napoca is 170 km north (2.5 hours), and Alba Iulia is 70 km northwest (1 hour). Car rental agencies operate at the airport, including Avis, Budget, and Europcar.
