A well positioned airstrip in the north with chartered planes to Samburu, Amboseli, Masai Mara and other national game reserves and conservancies.. Private Cessna planes and Helicopters aldo use the airstip. the runway is on west of Mt Kenya, North East of the Aberdares and Ol Daiga hills to the north west.. which means wind blows in one predictable direction (to and from) which is good for takeoff amd landing the staff there are very friendly and helpful there is a nearby restaurant available to passengers and outsiders too
