Unfriendly, but it could be a coincidence, not very helpful after landing, nagging me over flight info Langen. They apologized for this later per mail, so ok. The environment is super and you can rent a bike (call first for availability). Nice restaurant (new and renovated), but closed for us. Although a group had lunch (Always call the restaurant before you go). Expensive landing fee, compared to others.
Great GA strip with one of the best Airfield restaurants in SH!
We held our annual electric car meet here. It was a fantastic day. The airfield owner is a wonderful person, and everything ran incredibly smoothly. We needed a location in St. Peter-Ording with plenty of space and infrastructure, and this was perfect. You might think electric cars and an airfield don't go together, but they're a perfect match. There was something for the kids to see all day long: airplanes, helicopters, and skydivers. I even took my children on a sightseeing flight, and it was a truly amazing experience. Thank you so much for this fantastic day at this wonderful location.
Thanks to Susi & Frank, the Fly-SPO team. It couldn't be better: a friendly welcome, friendly briefing, a first-class aircraft, and very knowledgeable but unobtrusive information during the flight. We were able to chat easily with each other and the pilot via the headset. At first, I was concerned about the small aircraft, but I felt so well looked after that I'll definitely be back...and again with Fly-SPO. A very special moment was the formation flight with the second Fly-SPO aircraft, really cool!! The pictures speak for themselves, what a fantastic experience a sightseeing flight over the Wadden Sea is. Highly recommended!!!
