Although the airport only handles small commercial flights, its organization and layout are very good. I'm from Mossoro and I was very happy to be able to arrive and depart from my city without having to go to Natal or Fortaleza. Congratulations!!!
This is a small airport with flights operated by Azul and VoePass. The larger hall, intended for the general public, is not air-conditioned and has a small snack bar and a small souvenir shop. The hall reserved for passengers about to board flights, on the other hand, is air-conditioned and has adequate facilities for waiting. The airport lacks a public address system, especially for flight announcements (check-in, boarding calls, takeoff and landing announcements).
I love the simplicity of this airport, which has the potential to receive much more investment to increase its flight demand, and also its infrastructure. But it already serves very well with the current demand and current structure. I hope the government invests more in the city and generates a greater flow of people to this welcoming airport that always receives me on my travels.
Terrible airport, it doesn't even have air conditioning. Azul Airlines has no commitment to its passengers, constantly delaying flights. For those traveling from the Pau dos Ferros region and other surrounding cities, I prefer to fly from Juazeiro do Norte-CE because the flights are nonstop and without hassle.
