Greenfly, operating under the IATA code XX and ICAO code GFY, is a Spanish airline that has carved a distinct niche in the European aviation landscape since its founding in 2003. The airline was established by a consortium of Spanish tourism entrepreneurs and aviation professionals, with the aim of bridging the gap between the traditional flag carrier model and the emerging low-cost segment. Headquartered in Palma de Mallorca, Greenfly began operations with a clear focus on providing affordable and reliable air travel while maintaining a strong connection to the Mediterranean identity.
