Considering that the airport is located at the end of the world, which literally means in the Nenets language to the indigenous people of the island, I am very satisfied with how the airport functions and I spent quite a few months there and with the airport staff, almost 2 years. By modern standards, it is a good airport, with all safety requirements met. The international level is also met. Lots of waiting seats.
It looks like a normal airport. But there's no food... other than buying a cup of coffee, some water, and a chocolate bar from the vending machine for an insane price. That's all there is to it. In short: a typical northern restricted facility for shift workers arriving and departing.
