Very easy check in. Small airport with only two gates. Friendly staff. Accessible by public transport, from Allbrook bus terminal board the taxi to Veracruz that drops one about 7 minutes away from the airport. Cost is US dollar 1 payable in cash to the van driver. No prior booking is required, taxi departs once it's full, hence good to have sufficient time on hand for the waiting that may be involved
The facilities are very tiny same as the parking lot. It's very difficult to find a place in the parking lot. The taxicabs park in front of the building and there is no chance to use the access.
The airport is very small and usually efficient but there are zero food and beverage options like coffee shops or restaurants. It's enough to be here just one and half hour before flight because there is nothing to do.
Small but rather modern airport and because it's an international airport, the security is tight. One place is open for coffee, drinks, and maybe food. Side note, if you don't check in Wingo flight online 3 hours before flight, you will be charged $10.70 at the airport at check in, total BS.
