Vilankulo Airport is conveniently located approximately 3 to 5 kilometres north of Vilankulo’s town centre, just off the main coastal road. The journey from the airport to the town or to the beachfront hotels takes only about 10 minutes by car. There is no public bus service directly to the airport, but travellers have several reliable options:

• Taxi: Taxis are readily available outside the arrivals area. Fares should be negotiated in advance; typical rates to the town centre are around 300–500 Mozambican meticais (roughly USD 5–8). Many hotels also arrange pick-ups.
