• By Taxi: Taxis are available outside the terminal. A ride to Yamagata Station takes roughly 30 minutes and costs around ¥4,000–5,000. To nearby destinations like Tendo Onsen or Higashine city centre, the fare is lower.
• By Car: The airport is a short drive from the Tohoku Expressway via the Yamagata Expressway interchange. Ample parking is available, with both short-term and long-term lots. The parking area is wheelchair-accessible.
• By Train: There is no direct train connection to the airport. The nearest train station is Higashine Station on the Yamagata Shinkansen (connected to the Ōu Main Line), but you'll need a taxi or bus from there.
