Litle! But very functional Airport in that zone!
This regional airport is capable of serving those seeking access to Curitiba and other connections via Azul and its ATR aircraft. The space is small, but functional. A modest area with books for exchange is particularly noteworthy.
The service from Larissa's entire team was impressive. I always use the Pato Branco airport, and I feel very comfortable with the whole team. Congratulations and thank you very much for providing us with excellent service.
The airline's service at this airport is awful. They made me open my luggage in the middle of the hall to transfer clothes from one suitcase to another, taking 2 kg off one suitcase and putting it on the other, saying it was airport policy. I've never needed to do this on any trip because one bag always compensated for the other, plus I was entitled to check in up to a fourth bag, which I didn't even need. One of the bags only weighed 16 kg, still far from the 23 kg limit.
Juvenal Cardoso Municipal Airport (IATA: PTO) is the regional air gateway serving Pato Branco, a city in the southwestern region of Paraná state, Brazil. Named after the local politician Juvenal Cardoso, the airport primarily handles domestic flights, connecting passengers to major hubs such as São Paulo and Curitiba. Designed for general aviation and scheduled regional services, it plays a vital role in moving business travellers, students, and visitors to and from this economically dynamic part of southern Brazil. The airport is a modest, single-terminal facility that prioritises efficiency and accessibility for a steady flow of passengers, especially during peak hours around 1 pm and 2 pm.
Juvenal Cardoso Municipal Airport is located approximately 5 km from downtown Pato Branco, along the BR-158 highway. Its proximity to the city centre makes it convenient for travellers. The airport sits at an elevation of around 830 metres, on the Paraná plateau, surrounded by rolling hills and agricultural land.
By car – The airport is easily reached by private vehicle. The terminal has a car park with designated accessible spaces. Taxis and ride-sharing services such as Uber are widely available in Pato Branco and can drop off or pick up passengers directly at the terminal entrance.

Juvenal Cardoso Municipal Airport is designed to be functional and accessible. The terminal is compact, offering essential services for passengers.
Accessibility – The airport is well equipped for travellers with reduced mobility. There is a wheelchair-accessible car park with designated spaces close to the entrance. The terminal has a wheelchair-accessible entrance, and the toilets inside are accessible, ensuring a barrier-free experience.
Baggage storage – A baggage storage service is available for passengers who need to leave their luggage while exploring the city or waiting for a connecting flight. This is particularly useful for those on short stopovers.
Toilets and changing facilities – The airport provides clean, well-maintained toilets, including a changing table for families with infants. This makes travelling with young children more manageable.
