Lufthansa CityLine is a German regional airline that serves as a wholly owned subsidiary of the Lufthansa Group, operating under the Lufthansa brand’s renowned service standards. Established in 1958 as Ostfriesische Lufttaxi (OLT), the carrier initially focused on air taxi services in northern Germany. It underwent several transformations, including a merger with DLT (Deutsche Luftverkehrsgesellschaft) in 1992, when it was rebranded as Lufthansa CityLine. This change marked its integration into the Lufthansa Group as the primary regional feeder, linking smaller communities to the airline’s global network.
